Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh met on Thursday here with the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths.
The session aimed to discuss the latest develoments and the UN-led efforts to establish peace in light of the recent military escalations by Iran-allied Houthi militia.
The Vice President has made it clear that Houthi militia's continous escalation puts all peace efforts at risk above all Stockholm Agreement.
He pointed out to the criminal attacks against the civilians and residential areas and houses, most recent one the hideous crime committed by Houthi militiamen yesterday, Wednesday, by firing a balastic missile on a civilian internally displaced person in the city of Marib.
The Vice President stated that the legitimate leadership headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi is very keen on establishing sustainable peace that is based on the three terms of reference in order to put an end of the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
The Vice President called on the International Community to condemn the Houthi milita's crimes and violations.
Mohsen has affirmed that the legitimate leadership is very interested in the people's interst and it will never give up or bagain to trade the commodity for currency.
For his part Mr Griffiths voiced his concerns about the deteriorated situations on the ground, affirming that he is very interested in making peace in our country.
Foreign Minister Abdullah al-Hadrami and the Deputy of the UN's envoy Ma'een Sharim were in attendance.
