As the theocratic militia of Houthis continue to fire ballistic missiles on neighborhoods inhabited by internally displaced persons in Marib, Yemen's Human Rights Ministry demanded a prompt international intervention.
The militia fired on Wednesday night a new ballistic missile into a neighborhood in the government-held city of Marib leaving an internally displaced family of six persons including four girls severely injured and leaving others missing under the rubble of the hit house.
The ministry in response issued a statement demanding international documentation of these atrocities and a prompt intervention to stop the well-armed terrorists from such recurrent attacks.
"Shelling areas populated by civilians is a serious escalation and a violation of the international norms," said the statement recalling a similar attack that killed the family of a lawmaker in the same neighborhood a couple of weeks ago and the more recent genocidal killing of 200 Presidential Guards cadets as a Houthi ballistic missile struck the military camp's mosque where they were performing the Sunset prayer.
