Minister of Planning discusses the implementation of WB's projects in Yemen

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Najib al-Aweg met on Sunday here in the Jordanian capital Amman with the Regional Director of the World Bank (WB) in Egypt, Yemen and Djibouti Marina Wyce and the Country Director of Yemen's Office Raja Qattan.
The meeting devoted to discuss the implementation of the WB's projects and programs in Yemen, namely the projects relating to the Emergency Response inclduing the projects of cash for labor, support of health sector, small farmers and providing basic services.
Dr. Al-Aweg stressed the importance of the WB's active role in supporting Yemen.
The WB's official stated that the WB will continue to support Yemen to help the government keep on providing basic services and maintain the national institutions and acheive economic recovery.
