Vice President of the Republic (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh conducted a telephone call Thursday with Governor of Taiz Nabil Shamasn.
In his phone conversation the Vice President intended to get familiar with the developments in the governorate and the underway efforts to establish security and stability.
Shamasn detailed Mohsen on the local authority's efforts to reinstate the state's institutions and improve basic services.
The Vice President praised the significant efforts made by the local authority, urging hard work and more efforts to speed up the development drive and drive the remaining Houthi militiamen out of Taiz.
