Vice President (Lt Gen) ALi Mohsen Saleh met Tuesday here with the Special Envoy of Swede to Yemen Peter Semniby.
The meeting aimed to discuss the developments in the national Yemeni arena and bilateral ties between the two countries.
Mohesn highly praised the interest of the Kindom of Swede in establishing peace in Yemen and the efforts it has made in this regard including hosting Stockholm's consultations, besides its substantial contribution to the humanitarian and relief actions.
The Vice President touched upon a range ot topics and issues including the agreement of Hodeidah and Riyadh agreement.
He stated that the implementation of the two agreements will be a significant step forward to acheive the comperhensive peace in Yemen.
Mohsen affirmed that the Houthis' recent military escalation in several fronts undermine the prospects of implementing what were agreed to in Stockholm.
For his part the Swedish envoy extended his country's condolences on the killing of scores of the Yemeni soliders and civilians by the Houthi shelling of a mosque in Marib governorate.
Semnibly reiterated his country's support for Yemen's security, stablity and humanitarian efforts.
