King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Center's Demining Project in Yemen known as "MASAM" announced that its deminers managed to pull out 34 anti-tanks landmines and 1239 unexploded ordnances (UXO) in the second week of this month from different Yemeni regions.

Al-Aweg explores more EU support for health, education

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr Najeb al-Aweg held talks on Thursday with the EU ambassador to Yemen Hans Grundrberg.
The discussions which held in the Jordanian capital Amman focused on the partnership between the Yemeni government and the EU.
Al-Aweg sought for further support by the EU to health and education sectors in Yemen.
Mr Grundberg stated that the EU is willing to provide the Central Bank of Yemen with technical support. He noted that the EU will keep on supporting the Yemeni government and Yemen's unity.
