MARIB-SABA
The Local Authority of Sana'a Province has directed humanitarian appeal to all local, regional and international organizations for swift intervention for humanitarian response to help people, who displaced recently from al-Khaniq Camp to Marib city.
Houthis targeted the camp, which contains around1500 displaced families, despite it is far away from the areas witnessing clashes (50 Km away).
In its meeting held Sunday and presided over by Governor of Sana'a Province Abdulqawi Sharif, the local authority confirmed urgent needs by displaced families for shelters, food and medicine assistances for alleviating their suffering over displacement.
The local authority denounced Houthi intentionally shelling of villages and houses of citizens in the areas near the hot places and targeting al-Khaniq camp for deepening humanitarian suffering of the citizens.
