Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadrami met Tuesday with the UN Deputy Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Munir Jonaid.
They discussed the latest developments in the Yemeni national scene and the region as well.
Al-Hadrami voiced the Yemeni government's gratitude to the US administration's supportive stances in support of the legitimate Yemeni government, the Yemeni people and peace process.
He stressed the importance of countering the Iranian's interferences that aiming to destabilize the Arab region; recalling the ordeal our country has been struggling with due to Iran's interventions through its agents of Houthi militiamen in Yemen.
The Foreign Minister cited the developments about the underway efforts to implement Riyadh Agreement, affirming that the government is keen to put the agreement in place in order to join efforts and resources for battling Houthi militia and thwarting its endeavors to carry out the Iranian expansion scheme in the region.
For his part, the American diplomat appreciated the Yemeni government's efforts and stances in support of the US administration, reiterating his country's support for the Yemeni government and people.
