Yemen's Information Minister said the Houthis' shock to the killing of Iranian general Qassem Suleimani reveals the Yemeni militia's ties to Iran. In a statement to Saba, Muammar al-Eryani said the Houthi-Iranian relationship exceeds coordination or (Houthi) serving as proxy fighter to total melting into the Iranian agenda."
Al-Eryani said the Houthi attitude does not represent the Yemeni people, not even those living in the areas of the militia's control. "All people in Yemen are united in their aversion to the Iranian agenda."
