PM receives Director of the UNHCR's Office in Aden

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik received Sunday in the interim capital Aden Director of the UNHCR's Office Jackeline Barlivlit.

The session aimed to discuss aspects of coordination and cooperation between the government and the UNHCR about the topics relating to the Response to meet the refugees' needs in Yemen and improving their situations.

They also discussed the humanitarian interventions and programs carried out by the UNHCR in collaboration with the Yemeni government including live-saving support, protection and basic relief for the refugees.

The discussions also touched upon the UNHCR's future plans and the action-plans to further increase cooperation with the government's authorities in charge.

The Prime Minister appreciated the substantial efforts have been made by the UNHCR, promising every necessary support by the government to improve the refugees' situations and IDPs as well all around the country.
