The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation discussed with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations here today the FAO's interventions with agricultural extension in the governorates of Abyan, Al Dhale'e, Lahj and Taiz, within a project on emergency livelihoods in Yemen.
Director General of Animal Health at the Ministry, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Khatib, the Director General of Agricultural Extension and Training Eng. Mokhtar Abboud, and representatives of the FAO studied the possibility of striking an agreement between the FAO and Agricultural Extension department on facilitating the implementation of the project funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the targeted areas, within six months of the year 2020.
