Governor of Mahra Rajeh Bakerait discussed Monday with the Director of Saudi Program for Yemen's Development and Reconstruction Sa'eed al-Zahrani the needs of the province from different projects according to priorities.
In the meeting attended by Secretary General of Local Council Salem Neimar and Deputy Governor Salem al-Aboudi, Bakerait praised the Saudi program's projects in the province, confirming significance of intervening in strategic projects, like electricity and roads.
The governor pointed to the province's urgent need of a 100-MW plant for covering power shortage during the forthcoming summer.
The local authority provided a list of the strategic project to the management of the Saudi program in the province to be raised to the concerned bodies in Saudi kingdom.
