NGOs organize roundtable discussion on UNSC resolution 2250 in Sayoon

Afak for Development and Shahed for Rights and Freedoms have organized a roundtable on the UN Security Council resolution no. 2250 on the occasion of the Human Rights Day which was celebrated worldwide on 10 December.

Twenty young people attended the roundtable which the two NGOs held on Saturday to acquaint the audience about the first ever thematic resolution on Youth, Peace and Security. The historical resolution adopted by the UN Security Council in 2015 is very important for all young peacebuilders worldwide because it brings recognition and legitimacy for youth's efforts in building peace.
