Deputy Prime Minister Salem al-Khanbashi and Governor of HadhramoutFaraj al-Bahsani launched Monday the vaccination campaign for combating diphtheria in schools and health facilities to children between 6-15 years from 2-7 of this December.
The campaign is financed by the UNIECF.
Al-Khanbashi called on parents to bring their children to vaccination centers and cooperate with the medical teams carrying out the campaign, confirming that these campaigns aim at protecting children and youth against endemics.
For his part, Director of Public Health and Population Office in the Cost of Hadhramout Dr. Riyadh al-Jariri made it clear that the campaign, which lasts for 15 months targets 247669 children and is being carried out by 219 teams and 876 health workers.
