Non-resident Ambassador of Republic of Yemen to Asutralia DrAbdulghani Ashamiri met Thursday with First Assistant of Australian Foreign Minister for Middle East and North Africa Angela MacDonald.
Ashamiri detailed MacDonald about the situations in Yemen and the UN'sefforts to make peace.
He pointed out to the recent spoiler move by Iran in which the Iranian regime handed over the premises of Yemen's embassy in Teheran to the Houthi militia's representative in violation of Vienna Convention about diplomatic and consulate relations.
For her part, the Australian official affirmed her country's support for peace. She stated that Australia's contribution to the humanitarian efforts in Yemen provided through the UN's agencies such as the UNICEF and WFP.
