Acting-Charged' Affairs of the Republic of Yemen embassy in Beijing Ahmed Mohammed Jaber criticized the Iranian regime for handing over the headquarters of Yemen's embassy in Tehran to the Houthi militia's representative. He described the move as clear and flagrant violation of the UN Chatter and Vienna Convention about the diplomatic relations.
Jaber's statement came as he met Thursday with Deputy Director of West Asia and North Africa Department in the Chinese Foreign Ministry Hua Sien.
Jaber briefed the Chinese official on the latest developments in Yemen including Riyadh Agreement and the government return to the interim capital Aden.
The Chinese official reiterated China's support to the legitimate government headed by President Hadi.
