Government team discussed with World Bank delegation ways to strengthen partnership expand development projects
A meeting held Monday chaired by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Yemen’s Governor to the World Bank Dr. Afrah al-Zouba and attended by a high-level World Bank delegation led by the Bank’s Vice President for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan Ousmane Dione discussed ways to enhance partnership and expand support across development, humanitarian, service, and economic sectors in the country.

Yemen's Ambassador to Moscow Ahmed al-Woheishi met on Wednesday with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.
Al-Woheishi's conversations with Bogdanov aimed to explore Russia's role in pressuring Houthi militia to allow the UN's team to visit to the Safer floating oil tank off Hodeidah coast to conduct an assessment of its state as a preliminary step to make the needed maintenance to prevent the potential collapse of the reservoir.
The Ambassador underscored the perils of a potential environmental disaster in case that start to leak from the oil reservoir to lacking maintenance.
