Secretary General of Arab League (AL) Ahmed Abu Algheit welcomed Riyadh Agreement between the Government and the Transitional Council, describing it as a significant step to maintain the national unity and the territorial integrity of Yemen.
In a press release Abu Algheit praised the Saudi Arabia's role in sponsoring the agreement.
"The Riyadh Agreement demonstrates that the Yemeni political forces and constituencies are capable to come together to avoid war and division", the statement read.
