The Governor of Abyan, Abu Bakr Hussein Salim discussed with the representative of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), Mueen Almas the progress of a number of projects being implemented by the UNOPS in the provincial capital of Abyan, Zunjubar.
The projects include paving the city's neighborhoods with cobblestones and asphalting the roads at the financing of the World Bank.Almas called on the local authority to present a list of the the priority projects needed in Zunjubar especially in the sectors of water, sanitation, cleanliness, power, and roads to be incorporated into the 2020 projects plan.
