Arab Parliament renews support for Yemen's unity

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Dr. Meshaal Al-Salmi, reiterated the Parliament's firm support for the legitimate government of Yemen as it counters the coup of Houthi militia.
Speaking at a meeting of the Arab Parliament in Cairo today, Al-Salmi also voiced support for the security, territorial integrity, and sovereignty of Yemen. He praised the participation of the government in the Riyadh talks with rebels in the south of Yemen.
He also condemned foreign interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries and the threats they pose to Arab national security, referring to attacks in the Arabian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and in the Sea of Oman against ships and against oil installations in Saudi Arabia, acts that economically impacted all countries.
