Acting Minister of Water and Environment Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi discussed Tuesday with Assistant Director of Food and Agriculture Organization and its Regional Representative for the Near East and North Africa AbdulsalamOuld Ahmad environment projects financed by Global Environment Facility and the Green Climate Fund.
Al-Sharjabi reviewed problems and difficulties facing water and environment sector in Yemen and finding solutions to them, pointing to private projects on managing water resources.
He hoped that the organization will help in providing consultations and training to water cadre.
For his part, Ould Ahmad confirmed readiness of the organization for providing support to the ministry of water and environment and providing consultative and training services, as well as working on finding solutions to water unplanned exhaustion.
