The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Socotra chieftains renew support to state headed by Hadi

The tribal chieftains in Yemen's Socotra province have renewed their support to the state headed by Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
In a meeting with the governor Ramzi Mahroos the social dignitaries said they stand by President Hadi to establish security and develop the archipelago, south of the Arabian Peninsula.
The governor said, "We have to work as one team to develop Socotra and prevent all the internal antagonisms that the enemies of Socotra attempt to create."
