Parliament Speaker, UK MPs discuss political, humanitarian situations

Parliament Speaker Sultan al-Barakani discussed with UK Parliament Delegation Wednesday political and humanitarian situations in Yemen and developments regarding implementation of Stockholm agreement on Hodeida and Houthi militia's danger on international maritime navigation.
In the meeting held on the sidelines of the 141st Round of International Parliament Union, al-Barakani confirmed keenness of ending the coup and ending suffering of Yemeni people and realizing the sustainable peace based on the three internationally approved references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.
For their part, the UK MPs expressed their support and solidarity with Yemen and its internationally recognized government and expressed support to UN efforts for realizing peace in Yemen.
They confirmed UK Parliament's concern of humanitarian issue in Yemen and working on alleviating it through providing assistances to needy away of Houthi militia's corruption.
