Yemeni-Jordanian security cooperation discussed

Vice Minister of Interior Maj. General Ali Nasser Lakhsha'a met on Monday in Amman with Secretary General of Jordanian Interior Ministry DrKhaled AbuHamour.

They discussed aspects of mutual cooperation between the two Ministries of Interior in the two countries.

Yemeni-Jordanian security cooperation has been robust since the two countries signed the first agreement of cooperation in 1995.

Lakhsha'a appreciated Jordanian cooperation and support for Yemen particularly in the area of training, underscoring the importance of resuming the work of the cooperation agreement between the two countries.

Abu Hamour stated that the Jordanian Ministry is ready to provide the Yemeni side with every necessary support to help the Yemeni institutions functioning effectively.
