Speaker of the House of Representatives Sultan Al-Barakani met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, Mohammad Yousuf Spahich.

They discussed the Serbian preparations to host the 141st Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) scheduled for mid-October in Belgrade, Serbia.

Al-Barakani said that the selection of Serbia as a host for this meeting underlines the capacity and prestige of Serbia, wishing the success for the planned event.
