MARIB-SABA
The government-held provinces of Marib and Taiz are preparing for celebrating the imminent 26th September Revolution anniversary with parades.

The 26th September in 1962 marked the beginning of the revolution of Yemeni republicans against the theocratic Imamite rulers, the ancestors of the present-day Houthi theocratic militiamen controlling Sana'a.

In rehearsal for celebratory parades in the anniversary, military band and students in Marib marched the streets of the eastern Yemen city chanting for the republic.

In Taiz, in central Yemen, the local authorities started preparing for "Lighting the Torch" and for parades and sports tourneys in the occasion.
