NEW YORK -SABA
On the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, Foreign Minister Mohammad Al-Hadhrami met with Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu, whose country was elected for the position of a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2020-2021.
The two sides discussed the bilateral relations, peace in Yemen, the intransigence of the Houthi rebel militia and the consequences of the latest armed rebellion in Aden by the Southern Transitional Council (STC).
Recalling the UAE support for the STC, al-Hadhrami stressed the government's insistence on stopping any external military support for unauthorized military groups in the country, and the need to re-make those forces regular.
