Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh was briefed by the Governor of Shabwa Mohammed bin Edeiw on the situation in the province in the aftermath of the rebellion attempt mounted by separatists late last month.
The Vice President and the governor discussed the efforts exerted to overcome the repercussions of the unrest and the efforts to build and develop security and stability.
The Vice President praised the effectiveness of the local authority including the civil, military and security institutions and praised the awareness of the people of Shabwah which foiled all attempts to target the legitimate state institutions in the province
The Vice President affirmed the political leadership's appreciation of the efforts to address the effects of recent unrest and meet the public demands for equality and good governance.
