Hadhramout Local Authority and Leaders of Industrial and Commercial Chamber ofHadhramout discussed Thursday with Indonesian Ambassador to Yemen Mustafa Tawfiq making use of investment chances and trade exchange between the two countries.
The meeting touched upon means of making use of Indonesian facilitations granted to Hadhrami merchants and visas to Indonesia, as well as saving time and effort for practicing their trade activities.
Assistant Deputy Governor of Hadhramout for the Valley and Desert Districts Affairs Abdulhadi al-Tamimi called for encouraging commercial exchange and making use of investment opportunities and activating and doubling trade activities between the two parties.
Al-Tamimi praised historical relations between Yemen and Indonesia and pointed to care provided by the local authority to Indonesian students studying Islamic affairs in Hadhramout.
For his part, the Indonesian diplomat expressed pleasure for seeking investment opportunities, praising deep-rooted relations between Yemen and Indonesia.
He pointed out that Indonesia will hold the 43rd Trade Show in Jakarta on October and will be participated by more than 1100 companies, in addition to organizing the annual economic conference.
