Netanyahu's threat to annex West Bank lands a serious defiance of UNSC resolutions: Yemen
[15/09/2019 04:23]

JEDAAH-SABA
Yemen has announced that the Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's threat to annex swaths of lands from the Palestinian Central Bank to Israel is a serious defiance to the UN Security Council resolutions and the UN General Assembly regarding Palestine.

Speaking in an exceptional meeting convened by the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah, Yemen's Vice Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadhrami said Netanyahu's plan will inevitably lead to undermining peace efforts, deepening tensions and bringing the region to more violence and chaos.

He asserted that Yemen for all the conflict and humanitarian crisis it is going through will always remain by the side of the Palestinian people and will save no effort in supporting the Palestinian people's choice and preserving their rights.
