The U.S. Embassy in Yemen has stated that the inspection of any vessel by the United Nations Verification and Inspection Mechanism in Yemen (UNVIM) does not mean that it is safe from U.S. sanctions, especially those ships, entities and individuals providing material support to the Houthis.

Solidarities' interventions in Taiz discussed

Deputy Governor of Taiz Abdulqawai al-Mikhlafi and Solidarities International's Field Officer discussed Tuesday more of the organization's interventions in Taiz.

Praising efforts of the organization during the past period in a number of provinces, al-Mikhlafi called upon the organization to open an office in Taiz.

The two parties discussed the organization's interventions in water and sanitation sectors.

The organization's representative pointed to the organization's plans for expanding its activities and interventions to cover all districts indicating results of his meetings with general directors of planning and international cooperation, water and health on discussing interventions in the city's districts after finishing field surveys.

For his part, Director of Taiz Police General Mansour al-Akhali confirmed that the security forces exert efforts for securing and protecting humanitarian work.
