The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.
The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,515, and the number of injuries has risen to 111,941, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation's genocidal war on October 7, 2023.

The Republic of Yemen has welcomed announcing of a new Sudanese government under Abudullah Hamdok as Prime Minister.
"This agreement represents significant step for realizing security and stability and reflects keenness of all parties on the interest of Sudanese people and realizing its aspirations for progress and prosperity," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a release issued Saturday.
The ministry expressed best wishes to the people of Sudan for this breakthrough and heartfelt hopes to the new government for success.
It confirmed that Yemen will continue to be supporter to all steps and measures of realizing development and prosperity and tightening security and stability.
