MARIB-SABA
Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik said the government is against building any paramilitary entities outside the state.
Addressing senior officials from the Interior and Defense ministries in Marib today, he cited the ongoing rebellion by the paramilitary "Southern Transitional Council" forces in south Yemen as a living testimony to the danger of the practice. "It has catastrophic consequences and allows for the expansion of terrorist groups," he said.
The Chief of Staff pointed to the danger the Iran-backed Houthi militia also poses to Marib and the rest of the country's territories.
