Arab Coalition destroys six Houthi ballistic missiles heading toward Saudi Arabia
[25/08/2019 08:42]

RIYADH-SABA
The Official Spokesman of the Arab Coalition Forces Col. Turki Al-Maliki stated that this evening the Coalition's combined forces have successfully intercepted and shot down six ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi terrorist militia from Sa'ada Governorate in an attempt to target civilian objects and civilians in Jazan city.

Al-Maliki explained that the continuation of attempts by the Houthi terrorist militia to target civilians and civilian objects, which are protected under the humanitarian international law by drones as well as ballistic missiles, reflects the size of Houthi losses in fighters and material amid continuing military operations deep in Sa'ada Governorate with the support of the coalition and all other pivotal supporters in the field.

It also confirms the nature of criminality of this terrorist militia as its hostile and terrorist acts have been rated as war crimes according to the humanitarian international law, confirming that the joint forces of the Coalition continue to take strict and deterrent measures to neutralize and destroy these capabilities, and that these hostile and terrorist actions targeting civilian objects and civilians will be countered by the coalition's capabilities.
