The Republic of Yemen has participated in the Second Round of Arab Chinese Forum on health.
Minister of Public Health and Population Nasser Baom headed Yemen's delegation in the forum, which kicked of activities here on Friday and lasts for August 18.
Baom confirmed deep-rooted relations between Yemen and China and praised Chinese support to Yemen in health sector and relief support since 2015, hoping that the Chinese Belt and Road Project will help boosting relations between the two countries as Yemen enjoys strategic location and has important ports could contribute in making the giant project successful.
Baom then discussed with Chinese Minister of Health cooperation aspects between the two countries in health field.
He hoped Chinese support for medicines and medical equipment as well as qualifying health cadre in different specializations.
For his part, the Chinese official confirmed continuous medical support to Yemen in these conditions, pointing to return of all medical missions to Yemen when situations are stabilized.
