The local authorities in several north Yemen provinces have condemned the ongoing violence by militiamen from the separatist Southern Transitional Council in their coup attempt in the temporary capital Aden.
The authorities of Amran, Dhamar, and Hajja issued separate statements to reject the separatists' escalation by trying to seize state institutions mainly military camps.
They also earlier violence acts by separatist hooligans against northern Yemenis in the south.
