President Abdraboo Mansour Hadi- along with Prime Minister Ma'eenAbdulmalik- met Wednesday with Governors of Sana'a, Ibb, Hodeida, Baidha and Socotra and discussed with them latest developments in the country.
"We feel the size of suffering and difficulties faced by our people in liberated provinces or those still under Houthi control over repercussions of the unjust war imposed by rebels against our society and our people serving foreign objectives for Iran, which uses rebels as tools to destabilize security and stability of our brothers in neighboring countries, specially Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which Iran seeks to establish a new Hezbollah on border," he said.
e added:" Our objectives are clear and our approach is defined by the national consensus and peace references based on the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN related resolutions led by Resolution 2216 and reaching to ending the coup and its aftermaths and bringing victory to aspirations of Yemeni people for security, stability and peace."
He discussed with them efforts exerted for realizing development and economic stability based on sacrifices of Yemeni people, stressing significance of existing governors in their provinces and among their own people for tackling their needs.
President directed Prime Minister to sit with the governors and discuss with them all urgent needs aiming at promoting their duties associated with citizen livelihoods.
Forhis part, Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the meeting, which gathers governors for discussing situations of their provinces, pointing out to his former meetings with them and confirming implementationof President Hadi's directives on issues of provinces.
