U.S. Treasury Sanctions 21 Individuals, Entities for Involvement in Financing Houthi Militias
The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Planning ministry, Intl. organizations discuss activities in Yemen

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nizar Basuhaib discussed Sunday with Director of International Organization for Migration in Aden SajaktaSahani the organization's efforts and roles in dealing with refugees and illegal African refugees.

The organization confirmed that it has no relation with any camp for refugees in Ibb province.

He also discussed with Director of Turkish organization Doctors through Cotenants in Yemen Haitham Ahmad organization's continuous activity in field of artificial limbs, especially in Dhale' and Abyan province and financing dialysis centers in provinces of Aden, Abyan, Shabwa, Dhale', Lahj, Taiz, Baidha and other liberated provinces.

Meanwhile, Basuhaib signed the basic treaty with Director of Polish Humanitarian Aid Organization in Yemen Paula Ghiarek as primary step for opening a branch to the organization in Aden.

The organization will carry out activities in field of water, sanitation, food security, livelihood and education in a number of provinces.
