The Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament Sultan al-Barakani left the UAE Wednesday ending a four-day visit to Abu Dhabi where he met the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.
During the visit he held meetings with several Emirati officials including the speaker of the National Federal Council, the parliamentary body of the UAE. With them he discussed the bilateral relations and the coordination to counter the Iranian-backed Houthi coup.
He hailed the Emirati contribution in toppling the coup d'état of 2014 in Yemen and what the UAE offers on the political and humanitarian levels to Yemen.
