RIYADH-SABA
President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi said it must be clearly agreed that the Stockholm Agreement of December 2018 between the government and Houthis is key to the next de-escalation arrangements.

In a meeting President Hadi, along with the Vice President and Prime Minister, held with the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy Martin Griffiths here on Monday, Hadi said he had ordered the government's representatives in the Joint Redeployment Committee "to resume working with the head of the U.N. mission to Hodeidah Lt. Gen. Michael Lollesgaard on correcting the course of the Hodeidah deal." "Their meeting started yesterday, but we learnt that the Houthi militia's is maximalist and stubborn again."

Hadi praised the UN and international community for their stances and support to Yemen since Yemenis began their historical transformation that only disrupted by the Houthi coup of September 2014.

The UN envoy affirmed he is going to work to implement the tracks of peace as per the three terms of reference with the first focus to be on Hodeidah. He also condemned the Houthi sentencing of 30 peaceful oppositionists to executions in the capital Sana'a a few days ago.
