Yemen has participated in the meetings of the 122nd Round of International Maritime Organization are being held here on July 15-19.
Deputy Minister of Transport Naser Sharif participated in the meetings, which discuss expansion of the organization's council to include suitable geographical representation to member states and increasing its members.
The meetings also review maritime safety and protection of maritime navigation, which include international transport line off Yemeni coasts.
