Governor of Mareb Sultan al-Irada received Thursday the Head of the National Committee to Investigate Human Right Violations Allegations Judge Ahmad al-Muflihi on coordination between the local authority and the committee on investigating human rights situation.
Al-Muflihi said the visit of the committee to Mareb comes within a program for field visits of the committee's teams to a number of provinces for the third quarter of 2019.
He confirmed having joint mechanism with local authority and government institutions for boosting justice and human rights' values, praising the state of security accomplished by the local authority and activating the state's institutions.
The head and members of the committee presented their program to be implemented during their visit to the province. The visit, which will last for several days, includes meetings with heads of judicial authority, security and police commanders and visiting prisons for inspecting conditions of inmates and human rights situations there.
Governor al-Irada confirmed that the local authority and all government offices will provide necessary facilitation and support for enabling the committee's teams to perform their duties.
"We give concern to humanitarian file and are highly abide by humanitarian principles as religious and moral principles besides commitment to laws and regulations," he said.
