Houthis have deployed thousands of children to warfronts, Yemen's deputy prime minister Salem al-Khanbashi said.
Addressing an event to celebrate the World Day Against Child Labour, observed in the temporary capital Aden on 12 June, he said that "the terrorist Houthi militia deploys thousands of children to warfronts as documented by the ICRC and other humanitarian organizations."
He said that the militia is currently conducting summer training courses to entrench theocratic sectarian beliefs into the minds of children.
He said that the government has already informed the UN and humanitarian organizations on the Houthi violations and abuses against children.
