Yemen's Ambassador to Oman Khaled Shutaif discussed Monday with the Head of Eastern Arab Management at Omani Foreign Ministry Ambassador Mubarak al-Mukhaini latest developments in Yemen.

The two parties also discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.

Shutaif confirmed government's keenness on realizing peace based on the references; the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216, pointing to obstacles made by Houthi militia before implementation of Stockholm Agreement.

For his part, the Omani Diplomat confirmed his country's support to any effort exerted for realizing security and stability in Yemen and protecting its unity.
