RIYADH-SABA
Minister of Information blames Iran-backed Houthi militia for exploiting the scouting movement to recruit children and promote its sectarian ideology in the militia controlled regions.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) al-Iryani said " Houthi militia has embarked on exploiting the scouting activities in its controlled areas to recruit teenagers into its ranks'".
He added " The militia take the advantages of the so-called summer pupils camps to recruit children and promote hatred by forcing the pupils to stick hate and death slogans on the scout uniform".
The Ministry of Youth and Sport also denounced the militia for calling on the pupils to participate in the summer camps in order to recruit them and instill destructive sectarian ideology.
