Food and Agriculture Organization, in cooperation with Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, organized Wednesday a workshop in field of food security, nutrition, livelihood and Aden Market' information.
The workshop lasts for five days.
Participated by 35 participants from ministry of planning and units of food security information across the provinces within a program for supporting food security and early alarm financed by the European Union includes basic principles on malnutrition and knowing the most important minerals and food substances, reasons of analyzing food security, ways of living, different factors on defining them and knowing prices' role as indicators for market.
The workshop aims at boosting technical and diplomatic and institutional capabilities of food security and coordinative units in provinces and relevant government institutions for collecting and analyzing food security data, boosting food security information and early warming on national level and providing basic training on nutrition analyzing.
