The Ministry of Legal Affairs and Human Rights expressed its condemnation of the issuance of a forged and fabricated statement attributed to it dated December 29, 2025, for misleading purposes, which contains allegations of no human rights violations in the governorates of Hadramout and al-Mahra.

Info. Minister meets with US Congresswoman Rashida Taleeb

Minister of Information Muamer al-Iryani met here in Washington with the US Congresswoman Rashida Taleeb.

The meeting came within al-Iryani's current official visit to the USA aimed to explain the Yemeni crisis caused by Iran-aligned Houthi militia's coup and war on the Yemeni people.

During the meeting al-Iryani detailed Rashida about the latest political developments in Yemen and the UN-led efforts to make peace. He blamed Houthi rebels for not implementing the Stockholm Agreement and prolonging the Yemeni peoples' suffering.

The Minister touched upon Houthi militia's violations and atrocities against the populations in the militia controlled regions.

He reiterated the Yemeni government's commitment to establish sustainable peace based on the three terms of reference including GCC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of National Dialogue and UNSCR 2216.

The American Congresswoman expressed her support for the UN-led peace efforts in our country.
