Prime Minister DrMa'een Abdulamlik presided over Yemeni-American meeting Thursday in the temporary capital Aden with the presence of the American Ambassador to Yemen Christopher Henzel.
The session brought together several Yemeni ministers and senior American officials.
The meeting intended to further increase Yemeni-American bilateral cooperation in different fields to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
The Prime Minister welcomed the American Ambassador and his accompanying delegation in the temporary capital Aden, describing the visit is of paramount importance for the legitimate government and Yemeni people.
Discussions touched upon the situations in Yemen and challenges the country has been enduring as a result of Iran-allied Houthi militia's coup against the official authority and the ongoing war against the Yemeni people.
DrMa'een cited underway efforts the government has been making to manage the challenges, reinstate basic services, mitigate humanitarian crisis and economic hardships.
The American Ambassador reiterated the US administration's support for the Yemeni government and people in different fields; underscoring the importance of the Documents of the National Dialogue Outcomes and the importance to take practical steps toward establishing the federal state
