King Salman Humanitarian and Relief Center's demining project in Yemen known as "MASAM" reported that its demining teams managed to remove 2639 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and improvised explosive devices (IED) during past ten days of this month, April 2026.

Minister of Information Muamer al-Iryani said" Iran has been promoting terrorism in Yemen through its Houthis agents and used our country as a launch-pad to threaten neighboring countries and maritime international routes".

His statement came as he met Thursday with Director General of Yemen and Oman Office in the American National Security Council ElisaMenor.

Al-Iryani warned of the Iran-backed Houthi militia's serious terrorist policy and propaganda that aims to sow ultra- sectarian doctrine among young generation, recruit children and exercise brainwash in the militia controlled regions.

The Minister stated that the Yemeni government headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has been staunch opponent of Iranian role and influence in Yemen.
