Minister of Information Muamer al-Iryani strongly denounced Iran-backed Houthi militia's missile attack against Abha's civil airport, describing the incident as dangerous escalation.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) he said" The missile attack against Abha's airport is a serious escalation, indicating the level of Iranian's support to the rebel militia that is clearly employed by the Iranian regime to destabilize security and stability in the region in a bid to reduce international pressures up Teheran".
Al-Iryani added" The terrorist attack on Abha's airport by cruise missile is clear evidence that Tehran's regime has continued to supply the putschist Houthi militia with ballistic missiles and quality weapons with aim of further increasing the ongoing conflict in the region".
